No SAD Here

For many years, growing up in Ohio, I didn't understand that around the months of November through April I started feeling depressed.  Nothing serious, but none the less, not feeling the joy that I usually experience. Several years later I realized why I was sad.  There's a name for my sad....It's SAD (seasonal affective disorder).  In other words....there wasn't enough sunshine in my life.  All the trees were starting to die, so that the cold winter months didn't kill all the trees, they shed their leaves, and "rested" until they could come back in the Spring.  Florida has 101 clear or sunny days compared to Ohio's 72 days (Current Results; weather and science facts). Now that I'm aware why I feel blue, it's much easier to deal with.
Our situation right now with this COVID-19, is like that.  We don't know what we're dealing with.  How long will this "new normal" last?  How many more people will be affected? When can I go back to work? Will we ever be able to eat in a restaurant again?  Will the restaurants even be open when all of this is over?
But just like SAD, when I found out what was causing my mood, I could deal with it.
So, just like this virus...We've Got This!!!!
