JUST CALL JEAN

Her voice wavered as she spoke, "You know I love "Rose" (not her real name) with all my heart. But when I talk to her she leaves me feeling depressed."
It seems whenever my friend talks to "Rose" the only thing "Rose" wants to talk about is how bad off she is, what a victim of "life" she is. 
My friend went on to say after I call "Rose" I have to call "Jean" (not her real name either) just to make me feel better.
I hope I'm not the "Rose" in any one's life. However, I can see how it would be easy to fall into that way of thinking. Especially when things, life, goes the way it sometimes does.
I read a quote by Maya Angelou, 'I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.'
I've found that is so true in my own life.
My goal is to be like "Jean", and leave them feeling better. 
Proverbs 12:14 From the fruit of his lips a man is filled with good things as surely as the work of his hands rewards him.
