A friend called a few days ago asking me if I missed the snow? I thought about the beautiful white flakes drifting towards the ground.
The icy cold air swirling around my neck, chilling my face and my body to the bone. And I remember shoveling snow to the end of the driveway only to have the county snowplow fly by blocking the driveway again.
And then I remember, getting in the car, starting it so the windows could clear the snow before I even attempted to pull out of the driveway.
Yes, I miss the snow.
Okay, it's over now.
