Before I knew the author, my eyes were trained on the subject line.....breast cancer.
My heart was racing, I knew it was someone close to me....I didn't want to open the email. First I prayed, and then I opened it. Another one of my very close friends has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She is waiting for the genetic testing to see whether she will have a lumpectomy or a double mastectomy, and hysterectomy.
I don't want to share her name yet, because I don't know how many people she has told, besides it is her news. You don't need to know her name to pray for her. God knows her well. Please pray for my friend.
In spite of her news, she remains upbeat. One of the reasons I love her.
Another friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago shares with everyone about "walking in the valley of the shadow of cancer", is finished with all her surgeries and chemo. Praise the Lord she is well.
I know this friend will also be well. I'm praying.
Matthew 4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

Oh, Katt! It must have been such a heart ache to get that news! But your friend is blessed to have you to support her. Of course I'll pray for her, too.
Thank you so much Carol. I think one of the reasons I was so shocked was over the past year the first six people on my prayer list had breast cancer. Praise the Lord that everyone of them is doing great right at the moment. I know she will be okay too! So has a servants heart and the faith of JOB! :D
Thanks for the prayers!
