And another definition of God's Grace is: the kindness by which God bestows favors and blessings upon the ill deserving, grants to sinners the pardon of their offenses.
Several days ago I read through tear filled eyes, the journal entry written by my friend. She said she was feeling a "little blue" that day. This precious friend has breast cancer. She has the surgery behind her, and the chemo behind her. She is still facing several surgeries, as she continues to be isolated from all of us because of her compromised immune system. She continues to struggle with excruciating pain, sleeplessness, and low energy. In spite of all that she remains ever hopeful, compassionate and a devout Christian.
The day after she wrote that entry, she wrote about being blessed with flowers from a friend, phone calls from other friends and words of encouragement from yet other friends.
I was so touched by her words, and by God's Grace. There are so many of us praying for her everyday. It was refreshing to see how God answered our prayers by sending her the love she needed.
God's Grace is Amazing.
