Ninety-five years ago today.....

Ninety-five years ago today, Mrs. Neff gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. She called him Bobby, I call him Dad.
We celebrated his birthday early this year. We ate, talked, took naps, ate, talked and took another nap. I've inherited my Dad's love for a quick afternoon nap.
Dad and I were able to also attend Church services at the Church where I grew up. What a blessing that was!
While we in Florida are counting our blessings that Isaac took a left turn, we are praying for our neighboring states as Isaac continues his path.
What a blessing you are to all of us Dad. We pray you have a day full of God's grace. And maybe even an extra nap.
Happy Birthday Dad!   We love you.

It's often not until we're a little older ourselves that we begin to appreciate what a blessing our parents have been. My mother has been gone 32 years now (she died quite young of cancer), and my father nine years, so I understand how precious this time with your father must be. Happy Birthday to him!

That is so nice, Katt. Hope your Dad had a fabulous birthday. Sorry I'm late. Think about you everyday.
