CONTENT AND HAPPY

I watched with keen interest as the little bird sat at the feeder. How does he get here everyday? I don't see a GPS unit strapped to his body. Yet day after day, they all show up, with plates and forks, ready to eat.
I didn't recognize the song he was singing. Several of his friends knew it. In fact they joined him.
After he filled his belly, on his way to the nearby fence he paused for a cool drink of water.
He sounds happy.
I Timothy 6:8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
I need to be like that little bird.
Content and happy with what I have.
Actually, I am.

Very true! Being content is so much a less stressful life. Thank you for the great insight.

Nice to see you back here, Katt. :)

At this point in my life I'm content, too. It feels good. Contentment is a wonderful blessing, and one of the few things in life that we have control of.

Carol,
It's good to "be back"!
I like your comment, 'one of the few things we have control of'.....it took me a long time to realize the things I needed to be "in control of" and the rest I needed to leave in God's hands.
Hugs and blessings to you...
