ONLY A MOMENT

Sometimes people are in our life forever. Sometimes only a short time. We never know.
A few days ago Jen asked for prayers for her best friend Patty. They have been life time friends.
You know the kind of friend I'm talking about.
She's the one who knows all your secrets, but still loves you. She's the first person you call when you've met "the one" you're going to marry. Or vent to because of the day you've had at work.
She's the one who cheers your children on because she loves them, and they love her, almost as much as you do.
She's the friends voice you need to hear in the middle of a storm. Her voice alone can calm you and restore your sanity.
I hope you are blessed to have a friend like I've just described. I am blessed, several times.
Today, Jen and Patty's family are facing unknown storms in the coming days. Although Patty's "storms" are over, she has graduated and was called home a few days ago.
Jen, along with Patty's heart-broken family is left here to go on without that precious child of God.
Know Jen that Patty was blessed to have a devoted friend like you, a forever friend.
My prayers are with you Jen. Please pass them on, for all of us, to Patty's family.

Once we've encountered special people, either in person or in cyberspace, it's not likely we'll ever forget them. Good friends leave an indelible mark on our hearts, don't they?

I pray for your friend, Jen, and also for Patty's family. The ache of loss is painful but at least they have the reassurance of a heavenly tomorrow. I'm sure they also appreciate friends like you who support them with love and prayers.

Blessings to you, Katt.

Bless you, Katt. That's all I can say right now. That and thank you.

I'm so sorry. I was praying for them. That's the most difficult of all lessons to learn: accepting God's will. It's all about faith. I know, I'm nothing without it.

Carol,
I will pass your precious comments on to Jen. I'm sure she will appreciate your concern.
It's amazing the love we feel for each other----It's not really amazing, it's a God thing, isn't it!
Hugs
Katt

Jen,
You don't need to thank me, that's what sisters in Christ do, pray for each other.

Thank you so much for your insight. I'm so thankful we're sisters too.
