GOD'S PLAN

I read an article that reminded me of the same events in my own life. A lady, an artist was happy, her own words, painting. Creating from a blank canvas. She and her husband found themselves in a new location. New friends, new surroundings and nothing familiar except her painting. She felt alone until she met Susie. Susie was at the hub of everything. Surrounded by friends Susie made the artist, Bobbie Burnett feel less miserable and alone. In fact, Bobbie claims she almost forgot she was the "new kid on the block" because of Susie's friendship. About a year after their meeting Susie developed leukemia. Not knowing how to comfort Susie, Bobbie thought about making her an angel. When Bobbi took the angel to Susie, she was overwhelmed and asked Bobbi to place it where she could see it. People came in, loving the special handmade glass angel and immediately wanted to know where they could buy one.
Knowing she didn't have time to make more, Bobbie decided to teach others how to make her special angels. Today she calls her home The Angel Factory and her business is The Caring Collection.org. To date Bobbie has donated over $800,000 to cancer research. Her goal is to donate a million dollars. I know she can do it.
Bobbie's heart was in her painting, but God had other plans for her. He orchestrated the meeting between she and Susie. Today Bobbie has about 80 volunteers making the beautiful glass angels.
I've read many stories about people who had a dream of their own, and somehow God set road blocks to turn them in a different direction.
Bobbie and her husband share the joy of their business today. She says they are "surrounded by angels."
If you would like to order an angel at caringcollection.org or 410-849-5333, you can be part of God's plan too.

Great story. Crazy how good comes out of tragedy.

Joy, I read her story in Guideposts (December) and couldn't stop thinking about her. I had to write about this great thing she has done!
Hugs
